Sky Ferreira will release EP next month!

Sky Ferreira has been lying low ever since her debut single

in the US, "Obsession," was the biggest flop since J. Lo's "Louboutins."

But, even though the odds are against her

(her debut album now has no official release date),

she's pushing forward; her first EP,

As If!, will catapult onto iTunes March 22nd.

The first single from the project, "Sex Rules,"

was released into the world today,

and is officially my SONG OF THE WEEK.

New music from SKY FERREIRA!

While Sky Ferreira is trying to get her name recognized,

some tracks have been leaking left and right.
I gave two of the latest leaks,
"Elevator" and "Untouchable" a spin.
They are different styles of electronica,
with "Elevator" having a calm feeling to it,
and "Untouchable" having almost too much going on.
But, neither are as good as her latest hit (NOT!) "One."

for her first U.S. single,
"Obsession," today on MTV.
I've known about Sky for a few months,
and this isn't the best song choice to try to crack the States.
(she's already had two European singles, "17" and "One," check them out!)
