ALBUM REVIEW: Love?

After trying TWICE to make a comeback in 2009
("Fresh Out The Oven," "Louboutins"), and hearing
all 179 of those leaked songs never become singles,
the world was ready to give up on Jennifer Lopez's seventh album.
Then, in a magical reappearing act, Jenny from the Block
came back to rule the universe with the platinum-selling single,
"On The Floor." After the massive success of that track,
J. Lo has finally released Love?, and boy, who isn't in love now?
Want a review? You're about to get one. Now.

"On The Floor" featuring Pitbull- A-
Even after months of constant listening, it's still a hit in my mind.

Yeah, a version of this track leaked years ago. Whatever.
Version 2.0 is more powerful. DIVA.

"I'm Into You" featuring Lil' Wayne- A-
This song is extremely sweet, and Weezy works it out.
The beat is magnificent, if I might add.

"(What Is) Love?"- B+
This Wynter Gordon-penned track is definitely the
best ballad of the LP, even after leaking a while back too.
Great lyrics, and the beat is nice and smooth.

When this leaked (with a feature from Rick Ross!)
I crowned this song my favorite of the Love? era.
Even sans Ricky Rosay, it still is.
It's "next single" material, especially with summer on its way.

"Papi"- A+
The best banger from the album.
It has enough bass to fill an ampitheater.

"Until It Beats No More"- B-
It's a good effort (remember her performance of this on SNL?),
but it doesn't make an impact in my heart.

"One Love"- B
Good, even after the first listen two years ago.

"Invading My Mind"- A-
RedOne-produced, Lady GaGa-written.
Does it get any better than that?

"Villian"- A
This track is fierce. The lyrics punch you in the face,
and the vocals are nice and AutoTuned.
Radio killa!

"Starting Over"- C
Skip.

Even though this track was originally made for one-hit-wonder Tami Chynn,
I think J. Lo proved that this was in fact meant for her.

"Everybody's Girl"- B-
This song (also written by Wynter Gordon) is really weird,
in a weird sort of way. I might need a few more listens for it to sink in.
Ask me again in about a month.

"Charge Me Up"- B+
I like the many metaphors found in this record,
and the beat is one of the best I've heard in pop all year.

"Take Care"- A-
This song is excellent in a
"simple-and-trashy-and-dumb-as-fuck" way.
What's wrong with that?

"Ven A Bailar" ft. Pitbull- B
I'm not Spanish, so I have no clue what the hell they are saying.
But it sounds great. Sexy, too.

Overall Grade: A-
It's Jennifer Lopez we are talking about. It's automatically brilliant.
Now go buy it, or she'll show up at your house with a chainsaw.

J. Lo previews LOVE?

As the countdown for Jennifer Lopez's "comeback" album is dwindling to
the single-digits, she is treating fans and listeners to an album sample of Love?.
By the sound of it, it won't be the BEST album of the year, but it
has potential to be HER best yet. Most of the songs are diverse,
with the standout cuts being the Wynter Gordon-penned "Everybody's Girl"
and Tricky & The-Dream's "Good Hit" and "Run The World."
If you've always wanted to fall back in love with J. Lo, you can start by listening. Now.

J. Lo releases new track, "Papi."

While J. Lo's second Love? single, "I'm Into You," is creating more hype for
the upcoming album (which is slated for release on May 3rd,)
it's her latest promotional record that's taking over the world!
The RedOne-produced track, "Papi," is 100% epic.
Even though it's not an out-of-the-box song,
Lopez sticks to the formula she knows best:
making bitches dance and stealing their wigs at the same time.
Wanna hear its greatness? You can below,
and you can hear the next promo release, "(What Is) Love?" on April 26th.

J. Lo reveals the tracklist for LOVE?

After a few years of flopping terribly with albums (Rebirth, Brave)
and singles ("Fresh Out The Oven," "Louboutins")
Jennifer Lopez is finally ready to release her upcoming album,
Love?, on May 3rd. To increase hype for the project,
J. Lo unveiled the tracklist for the standard and deluxe (!!!) versions
of the LP. Even though releasing tracklists are one of the worst
things to do to prepare for release (look at Femme Fatale,)
it's definitely looking to be a hit.
On the list is the #4 hit "On The Floor" and future smash "I'm Into You,"
as well as previously-leaked masterpieces "Good Hit"
and "Run The World." It's looking like this will be in the running
for the my 'Best Album of 2011' award.
Check out the tracklists below:

1. "On The Floor" featuring Pitbull
2. "Good Hit"
3. "I'm Into You" featuring Lil' Wayne
4. "(What Is) LOVE?"
5. "Run The World"
6. "Papi"
7. "Until It Beats No More"
8. "One Love"
9. "Invading My Mind"

And on the deluxe, four additional tracks to love (?):

15. "Take Care"
16. "On The Floor (Ven A Bailar)" featuring Pitbull

J. Lo makes a double comeback with new single.

Late last night, the highly-anticipated second single from
Jennifer Lopez' upcoming Love? LP hit the Internet,
and this morning, J. Lo premiered the song on
On Air With Ryan Seacrest.
The track's called, "I'm Into You," and
the Taio Cruz-written Carribean-sizzled track features
recent rent-a-rapper Lil' Wayne.
The song won't be as big of a hit as "On The Floor,"
but with the right promotion, it can come pretty close!
The track is FIRE, and if I wasn't excited for Love?
before (which will hit stores on May 3rd!), I am now!
Listen below, and make sure that your heart is still beating after.

A new track by J. Lo leaks!

Okay, so since Jennifer Lopez has decided to wait until
"late May" to release her upcoming Love? project so
that she can squeeze another single in prior to the release date,
there's been lots of buzz to what she'll pick next.
Well, a few days ago, a RedOne-produced dance anthem,
titled "Invading My Mind," has leaked for the world to hear and obsess over.
Unless she doesn't want to put this jam on the tracklist, I
think that the public has just chosen her next single. It's pretty amazing.

Since J. Lo realized that there is no way she could
release her upcoming album Love? on the same day as Britney's
album and still be successful, she has marked a new
release date for the project: April 19th.
The album's lead hit single, "On The Floor,"
which is set to debut in the top 20 on the Hot 100,
will have its music video premiered on American Idol and VEVO
on Thursday evening, along with Lil' Wayne's "6 Foot 7 Foot."
Good choice, J. Lo. Good choice.

J. Lo's latest album gets a release date.

Jennifer Lopez's upcoming album,
Love?, is due MARCH 29TH.
Get buckled in, bitches.
J. Lo is back to murder every popstar in the game.
As a matter of fact, she already has.
Haven't you heard "On The Floor?"

SONG REVIEW: J. Lo- "Run The World."

A new song from actress/singer Jennifer Lopez leaked yesterday.
The song is called "Run The World."
It features rapper Rick Ross, and was produced by Mr. Radio Killa himself, The-Dream.
If a leaked song means that J. Lo's album is finally about to released,
I'm gonna die.
The song is pretty much perfect.
It's a hit.
Listen below and hear for yourself!
GRADE: B+

And for you Jennifer Lopez fanatics,
here's a current U.S. hit that she
decided to remix.
