Album Review: GOODBYE LULLABY.

After attempting to release the album for over a year,
Canadian pop-punk princess Avril Lavigne has finally
been able to find the right time to release her fourth studio album,
Goodbye Lullaby.
For the record, Lavigne collaborated heavily with ex-husband
Deryck Whibley, as well as choosing
records with Max Martin and others.
Wanna read the only important review before deciding
whether or not to buy the album when it drops TOMORROW in the US?
Read below!

"Black Star"- B+
What an excellent choice for opening the album up to the world;
It's mellow, but very powerful.

"What The Hell"- A
The only extremely upbeat and fun song on the album;
It was definitely created to become a single from the album.
It's still catchy as ever, and it's been released for two months!

"Push"- B+
This tune seems like it would find its place on any old Avril album.

"Wish You Were Here"- C+
This is one of the many songs on the album where Lavigne shows
her vulnerable side, and it's not bad... it's just not the best.

"Smile"- B-
It's filled with profanities and it has a good chorus,
but it definitely doesn't belong on the top half of the charts,
since the world has become obsessed with dance records.

"Stop Standing There"- B
It's different. And I like it.

"I Love You"- C-
The title alone makes me want to vomit.

"Everybody Hurts"- B
I love the vocals and all,
but I'm getting bored of all of these guitar/piano-ridden tracks.

"Not Enough"- C-
Bore.

"4 Real"- B-
I like the softness of this track,
but, seriously, where's another "WTH?"

"Darlin"- D+
Is the album over yet?

"Remember When"- B
Yet another ballad.
It's not the best.
But, there's something there that gives me chills.

"Goodbye"- C+
Alright. Goodbye. See you next album.

Overall, I would give the album an overall grade of C.
I will probably get the album, but I'll let you decide whether that is a
good enough grade or not to pick it up yourself.
