TEASER TRAILER FOR SCREAM 4!

so far, so FUCKING good!

!

I'm getting more and more excited about this movie each day.
In seven and a half more months, one more piece to the puzzle of my life will be in place.
Look below to see what movie I am talking about!

Country Strong! YES!

The trailer for upcoming country-drama Country Strong was released today.
And boy, am I ready!
The movie is about a washed-up star (played by Gwyneth Paltrow),
who is trying to comeback with the help of her husband/manager (Tim McGraw).
Invited along the ride is an up-and-coming singer/songwriter (Garrett Hedlund)
and a beauty queen who craves to be a singer (portrayed by Leighton Meester).
Two things I discovered while watching this trailer:
1. How great Gwyneth's voice is.
2. How much I am still in love with Leighton.
Watch the trailer below!
Country Strong is set to be released to theaters December 22, 2010.

MOVIE REVIEW: Machete.

YES! YES! YES!

I am a HUGE fan of Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez.
And my favorite movie of all time is Grindhouse, and almost everyone knows that Machete was originally one of the fake trailers in the film, so it's obvious that I HAD to see this.
When I left the theater, my mind was BLOWN.

The movie is all about the title character Machete (Danny Trejo).
In Mexico, his wife and daughter were killed by drug lord Torrez (Steven Seagal),
and Machete was left to die in a blazing house fire.
Three years later, he is found in Texas, as an illegal alien,
trying to find work wherever is possible.
He's befriended by Luz (Michelle Rodriguez), the owner of a taco truck.

He's picked up by Booth (Jeff Fahey),
and is hired to kill Senator McLaughlin (Robert DeNiro).
But when is about to kill the Mexican-hating senator,
he is double-crossed!
The movie is all about him getting revenge on the ones who wronged him,
with the help of many, including Sartana (Jessica Alba),
and his priest brother (Cheech Marin).

The movie is so glorious,
and everyone has some great lines and roles.
But the one who really shines is Lindsay Lohan, who plays Booth's daughter, April.
I don't wanna say anymore else about the movie,
but I'm definitely already planning to see it at least 2 more times in the theater!

MOVIE REVIEW: Piranha 3D.

Last Saturday, I decided to see Piranha 3D.
I was so excited, because the trailer looked so good.
But, boy, was I wrong.
Within the first ten minutes I wanted to walk out.
The 3D stuff looked like an animation.
The acting was terrible, besides Jessica Szohr's, of course.
The plot had so many potholes.
The special effects were disastrous.
It was so predictable.
If you are looking for a scary movie, don't even think about going.
If you are looking for laughs, wait for it come out on RedBox, because it's only worth $1.

And not even that.
I thought My Bloody Valentine 3D & The Final Destination were boring.
This takes the cake.

Burlesque Trailer! FINALLY!

It's time!
The trailer for Christina Aguilera's film debut, Burlesque, has hit the Internet.
I watched it (DUH.), and i have one word.
RIDICULOUSLYGOOD.
I'm so excited.
You can see it for yourself here.

P.S. The song played in the trailer got me WET.

MOVIE REVIEW: Inception.

EXCELLENT.
This movie is the best one this year.
I don't want to reveal much of the plot, but I will say this: You will walk out of the theater feeling as if you were in a different world.
Leonardo DiCaprio: exceptional.
Ellen Paige: outstanding.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt: delightful.
I hope to see this movie at the Oscars!
This movie is rated 9.2/10 on IMDb, and is on the top 250 movies of all time at a surprising number 3!
Just go see the movie.

YAY!

I'M BACK!

after five days away from my life, I've returned with a treat!
I've been hearing a LOT about this movie in the last month or so,
and I'm almost as excited to see this as SCREAM 4.

Are you ready for THIS?

:)

MOVIE REVIEW: Shutter Island.

GRADE: B+

This movie, which is set in 1954, is about U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his partner (Mark Ruffalo) searching for a missing patient at Shutter Island, which is actually a insane asylum. But, as the movie continues, and the staff at the hospital become more suspicious, you realize that the patients aren't the only ones that are loco.

THIS MOVIE is sooo good.
Martin Scorsese is brilliant as always.
The only part I didn;t like was the last minute of the movie.
but, of course, you have to watch to know what happens.

MOVIE REVIEW: The Lovely Bones.

GRADE: A-
This movie is excellent.

SYNOPSIS: 14-year-old Susie Salmon is murdered in her hometown on her way home from school by her neighbor, George Harvey. The movie is basically three stories folded into one: Susie's way through "The In-Between" (the path between real life and heaven/hell), the after effects her death leaves on the Salmon family, and the insanity of Mr. Harvey.

This movie shines because of the great (and weird) special effects, the almost all-star cast (Mark Wahlberg, Susan Sarandon, Rachel Wiesz, Stanley Tucci), and the director, Peter Jackson.

This film is based off of Alice Sebold's novel of the same.
I'm very glad I didn't read the book first.
:)

this is ONE OF THE BEST FILMS OF 2010.
