The Worst Albums of 2011.

The year has come to an end, and it is time to reveal my choices for

the BEST and WORST in music of the year.

I'm a believer in giving out the bad news first,

so here's the FIVE worst albums of 2011!

5. Dev's The Night The Sun Came Up

Even though it has yet to be released in the States yet (release date: January 10th,)

mother-to-be DEV's debut album is mediocre at best; there are a few standout tracks

("Kiss My Lips," "Dancing Shoes," and her only top 20 hit "In The Dark",)

but the remaining tracks drag the album down way into the dumps.

4. Lil' Wayne's Tha Carter VI

With almost one million copies sold in the first week of release, you'd think Lil' Wayne's seventh album would have been as good as 2008's Tha Carter III.

Think again.

3. T-Pain's RevolveЯ

After pushing the album back and changing the name numorous

times in two years, T-Pain seemed to have the right game plan...

until releasing the lead single, the gutwrenching, Lily Allen-sampling "5 'o Clock."

The entire album gives me the same feeling.

2. Nickelback's Here And Now

Come on, now. It's Nickleback.

1. Florence + the Machine's Ceremonials

Don't judge me before reading this: I'm a huge Florence Welch fan.

Lungs is on my list of favorite albums of the past ten years.

But Ceremonials... that's a completely different story.

T-Pain releases new song "Booty Work."

I'm guessing "I'm Dancing" wasn't good enough,

because yesterday, The King of Auto-Tune, T-Pain,

released a new song for FREE via his Twitter account,

and exclaimed that the song, which features nobody Joe Galaxy,

was indeed titled "Booty Work (One Cheek At A Time.)"

The song is a banger (every T-Pain song is nowadays,)

but it falls behind his past "singles" and leaks that been out

in the past few months. The song has some pretty wild lyrics, though,

so that's a plus. You can listen to the song below, and tell me what you think.

One of the kings of rap, Snoop Dogg,

is creating a lot of hype for his upcoming album, Doggumentary,

due March 29th; he has released a new song every

Tuesday, as well as dropping several singles and a mixtape.

The latest single, "Boom," which features T-Pain,

is the best since "Wet." I'm not lying.

The song's accompanying music video was released today, too.

It's pretty hip. Snoop is doin' it big!

Trina makes a comeback with "Ghetto."

One of the best female rappers out there, Trina,

is attempting to revive her struggling career with a new

mixtape, Diamonds Are Forever, coming later this month.

The first single from the project is titled "Ghetto,"

which features an Auto-Tuned chorus from T-Pain.

The song talks about... the hood. Duh.

The last verse makes me die laughing;

T-Pain releases new single "I'm Dancing."

The newest member of the Young Money crew, T-Pain,

is still continuing to release single and single from his upcoming

album RevolveR until one becomes a hit.

He might have something here with newest effort "I'm Dancing."

The track features rent-a-rapper Flo Rida,

but it's a pretty great song, that relies solely on catchiness, and

the chorus features the same random guy that talks

on R&B girl group Sophia Fresh's only single, "This Instant."

It's worth a listen (or two), so do so below!

Nelly releases new single/music video.

After his last single, "Just A Dream,"
hit the charts with much success,
rapper Nelly has teamed up with Dr. Luke and Max Martin
(who have been behind Ke$ha, Usher, and Katy Perry's biggest hits)
for a new single, titled "Move That Body."
T-Pain and Akon are featured on this tune.
If you are asking for my opinion,
I'm gonna say that this is the best song by Nelly
that I've heard since "Party People."
The chorus is catchy as FUCK,
and the song is pretty simple.
But, you'll have to see for yourself below.
(The music video premiered a few days ago!)
OH YEAH, his upcoming album, Nelly 5.0, is due November 16th.
