M.I.A. orders you to "C.T.F.O." now.

Even though M.I.A. is busy working on her new album, due out this winter,
that doesn't mean she can't help other artists out; she recently
connected with French electro artist SebastiAn on a track from his
upcoming album, Total, which is planned to be released on May 31st.
The track's called "C.T.F.O. (Chill The Fuck Out)," and it's utterly perfect.
Listen to the song below, and if you like it, and then watch the NSFW trailer
which promotes Total. Go. NOW.

M.I.A's "Zig Zag" is leaked.

Sri Lankan star M.I.A. has been laying pretty low since she
started the writing and recording process of her fourth album,
which is due early next year. But, low and behold,
a leftover unreleased track from her MAYA recording sessions has leaked.
The song's called "Zig Zag," and it's the catchiest shit
I've heard since "XXXO." Ha!
MAny reviewers have been saying that it should've made the
final tracklist, but I disagree. With the extremely experimental
sound that the album had, it would feel out of place on the record.
Anyway, if you love MIA as much as I, spin it HERE.

ALBUM REVIEW: /\/\/\Y/\.

I always keep my promises.

So, the ridiculously talented M.I.A. released her third album, /\/\ /\Y /\, a month ago.
I finally picked it up (it was between her or Mike Posner), and i made a great choice.
The album is excellent!
Besides a weird introduction (The Message),
and a few extra-aggressive songs (Meds and Feds/Born Free),
and a slow jam that should've never happened (It Iz What It Iz),
the album hits the perfect notes.
I didn't think that she could do better than her first two albums, but the third time IS the charm!

BTW:
Teqkilla
XXXO
Tell Me Why
Steppin' Up

Lovalot
It Takes A Muscle
Caps Lock
Illygirl
Space
Internet Connection
Believer (feat. Blaqstarr)
Meds And Feds
Born Free
The Message
Story To Be Told
It Iz What It Iz

GRADE: B+
