Ke$ha and her best friend/producer
Dr. Luke decided to copy Lady Gaga and Usher
and re-release Animal, and also make it an EP,
which is titled Cannibal.
And like Lady Gaga and Usher, it works.
The 9-track EP is full of hits, like the
gay anthem "We R Who We R,"
and the guilty pleasure "Sleazy."
But, with every album, there are a few misses, too.
Check out my review before you decided to pick up Cannibal!
Cannibal- A-
more wild than Hannibal Lecter.
We R Who We R- B+
It's the only empowering song I've liked so far.
It's still catchy as hell.
Sleazy- A
"Rat-a-tat-tat on your dum-dum drum,
the beat's so phat, gonna make me cum."
That's all.
Blow-
B+It's lacking compared to the last three songs,
but that doesn't make it bad.
The Harold Song-
B-I am kind of mesmerized by this song.
But some parts of the track are iffy.
Crazy Beautiful Life-
Cnot trashy enough. period.
Grow A Pear-
BThis is
Katy Perry's "
U R So Gay," version 2.0.
only better.
Clever way to spell pair, by the way.
CU Next Tuesday-
A
I would give it an A+,
but I like the Animal bonus track version better.
Animal (Billboard Remix)- D+I love the original version,
but this is simply a mess.
It does a good job at butchering the song.
OVERALL GRADE: B+
