Album Review: FEMME FATALE.

Late last year, when Britney Spears made the official
announcement that she'd be releasing her highly-anticipated
seventh album soon, the world went nuts:
we had been waiting for new tracks since the instant #1 hit, "3."
And then we got a title. Femme Fatale.
The title alone stops all of your faves' heartbeats. It's perfect.
After many teasers and leaked songs, the album made its way
onto shelves today, and like anything Britney does,
it doesn't disappoint at all.
The album is 12 (or 16!) tracks of dizzying beats,
cooing vocals, tons of dubstep, and NSFW lyrics.
Here is my official review of Godney's Femme Fatale, track by track.

"Till The World Ends"- A
When I first heard that the almighty Ke$ha had a major
part in writing this track, I didn't know what to think;
I knew that the song would be about partying (all of K$' songs are,)
but I didn't thing Brit could pull it off. I was fucking wrong.

"Hold It Against Me"- A
The album's first single, produced by the LP's executive producers,
Dr. Luke & Max Martin, along with up-and-coming producer
Billboard, still doesn't disappoint two months after its release.
And no, Britney, if you said you wanted my body now,
I wouldn't hold it against you.

"Inside Out"- A+
I think that this is the first time in world history
that I've heard her sing about breakup sex. And I can't get enough.
But that's the only majestic thing about this record: the beat is murderous.

"I Wanna Go"- B+
Fellow fans of Brit Brit and the album have exclaimed that this
track is destined to be a hit single because of it's
catchiness and the soothing whistles, and even though
it's currently my least favorite on the album, I can't argue.

"How I Roll"- A+
If I had to choose a favorite from FF,
this would be my choice. The production is off the charts,
the random pops and gasps make me spin in circles,
and whoever assists in singing the chorus deserves acolades.
PS: I'm still going to sing, "You can be my fuck tonight..."!

"(Drop Dead) Beautiful"- A+
This track is one that the gays are going to ruin.
The lyrics are somewhat similar to Katy Perry's "Peacock."
And you know the gays, they love when songs talk about big schlongs!
It's flawless, though, and YES, including Sabi's 20-second spotlight.

"Seal It With A Kiss"- A+
Even though the layout of the song is simple as can be,
Britney adds a layer of godliness with her voice.
When I heard the teaser to this song, I squealed.
When I heard the entire track, I came.

"Big Fat Bass"- A
When fanatics said that this was their least favorite on the LP,
I could understand why: it's repetitive, and Will.i.Am raps in it.
But is that really a bad thing? No way. The bass is getting bigger, bitches!

"Trouble For Me"- A-
I was expecting the album to get less and less interesting by now
(like most albums nowadays do,) but that was not the case here.
Even though it's not my favorite, the beat is wild, and
the way Spears delivers is amazing.

"Trip To Your Heart"- A+
Think "Heaven On Earth" part 2. Only two times better.

"Gasoline"- A
This song caused an earthquake in my house at first listen.
It's really catchy, too!

"Criminal"- A+
This song shows the vocal power that Britney has covered up
for a while; she soars above the made-by-magic beat
and makes you feel happy, even if you had a shitty day.
Perfection.

(DELUXE BONUS TRACKS)

"Up N' Down"- A+
The chorus alone sends a tingle up your spine.
Why wasn't this on the standard version?

"He About To Lose Me"- A+
This track wins the award of "Best FF Bonus Track"
because it is. Plus, after you hear it once,
it'll be stuck in your head for days. And for once,
that's not a bad thing.

"Selfish"- A-
Ester Dean deserves a round of applause for
writing this record. End of story.

"Don't Keep Me Waiting"- A
Britney's team made a good choice at putting this song
last, because once you finish this song, you'll be wishing FF
was as long as the deluxe edition of Bionic.
Travis Barker executed the drums effortlessly, too!
Oh yeah, and send this message to Porcelain Black:
Bitch, this is what rock n' roll looks like!

Even though I'm biased, other critics will agree
that is the one of her best, if not THE best album that
Weaveney has put out.
Blackout proved that Spears could pull off edgier styles,
but this showed that she can be even more innovative and flawless.
If you haven't picked up Femme Fatale yet,
you're about as dumb as a bag of rocks.
It's Britney, bitch.

OVERALL GRADE: A+

  1. Your blog looks nice, even so it would be far better if you’ll be able to use lighter colors too as a professional design. This will make sure that a lot more readers come to check it out.Informative post by the way!
