"Hold It Against Me," plus album release date news!

Before I get into my thoughts on the mastered single,

some great news has come my way about Britney Spears'

upcoming album. 1st things first: the release date.

The upcoming project, which will be executively-produced by

Dr. Luke and Max Martin, will be released... MARCH 15th, 2011!

The album cover will surface onto the Net around Valentine's Day,

with the tracklist to follow. Another thing?

THERE WILL BE A DELUXE VERSION/BONUS TRACKS.

Alright, now onto Spears' early gift to the world, "Hold It Against Me."

After spinning the track approximately 50,000 times (no joke),

I've fallen in love with the track. There's no turning back.

The dubstep-tinged tune is PERFECTION.

I was loving the demo, sung by Bonnie McKee,

but no one can do it like the Princess of Pop!

The lyrics are simple, yet memorable.

The vocals are godly, and the beat is seriously sickening.

I can't get enough.

My family and friends will hate me by the end of the week.

I am just apologizing in advance. Don't hold it against me!
